About Us

Health Psychology Hub is an independent Clinical Psychology Service set up by Dr Claire Browne and Dr Ruth Hurrell in 2018. Claire and Ruth are both Consultant Clinical Psychologists who have over 35 years combined experience working with children, young people, adults and families in the NHS. Our service specialises in working with clients aged 14 years and above. We are based in Manchester and offer online video link appointments.

We draw on a variety of models and approaches in our work, informed by NICE guidelines and the evidence base, together with our formal qualifications, training and experience in health care settings. We have a special interest in the importance of living well with physical health issues.
We only agree to work with clients if we believe we can make a meaningful difference and help them achieve the changes they would like to see.
